Creating Urgency with the 50+ Houser Browsers

Have you met the new 70 year old who looks like 60? Or the new 60 year old who acts like 50? Or better yet, the new 50 year old who looks, acts and works like the old 40 year old!
This group has it all and they are coming in droves! Get ready for them, embrace them; as they will be your future. Right when you think you might be starting to understand them, you meet another 50+ and learn all over again, they are unique individuals, each with their own quirks and questions.
Our beloved "50+ Houser Browsers"...have; high incomes, investments, net worth, home equity, and are educated. With all these buying components I still want you to know; they have NO URGENCY, and do not act quickly. The bottom line is they already have a roof over their head, and make no mistake their fondest memories were created there!
These generations of 76 million people were born between 1946 and 1964 in the post war baby boom. The National Association of Homebuilders says; this is the fastest growing segment of the housing market. Baby Boomers have a higher rate of homeownership than the national average, and 1 out of 4 own more than one home.
A survey form the National Association of Realtors shows that 10% of all boomers are likely to buy additional real estate in the next 12 months, 67% of the respondents said they were considering a primary residence, while 15% were considering a vacation or seasonal home. (Remember how many of them there are....76 million....and do the math!)
These people are like the Eveready Bunny...they keep on going and going, looking, and looking, buying and investing...they are just too busy to stop! But what does all this mean?
Are you IN or out of the game? Will you grab the brass ring and take the ride of your life with these awesome folks? If you answer is "Yes, I'm in" start learning what they buy, going where they go, selling like they buy. Most importantly, let's take them from a "Browser" to a "Houser"!

Although they have the financial responsibility to make the decision alone, look in the backseat...for the other important people such as; aging parents, children, grandchildren, and long term friendships. How will you know about these treasured relationships? ASK and then LISTEN!
